Welcome to My Office

I write to feed my soul.  This is my desk. My three books are pictured above. I spend a lot of time with that style manual and Virginia Tufte's Artful Sentences. The stuffed Whooping Crane is a gift from a writing friend in honor of my latest book Love is for the Birds. I'm looking forward to launching my next book in the summer of 2027.  I also write essays that frequently appear in the Austin-American Statesman. You can read those on Substack. I'm on all the social channels--Facebook, Insta, Pinterest, TikTok--but mostly I write. I hope you'll take a minute to watch the trailers of my three novels posted on this site.
